SCHLIEMANN RESIDENCY PROVENCE – SRP is an independent, non-profit, family run residency partnership programme for creative practitioners to foster artistic exchange in one of France’s most culturally active regions, and to nurture the development of ideas amidst nature. Always collaborating with other, mostly international arts organisations, SRP aims to support creative processes of the resident through research, experimentation, dialogue and, if applicable, coaching. Operating since 2018 between London and Saint Remy de Provence, SRP sets up, manages, and organises predominantly research and development residencies for one resident at a time at a designated studio house on a private family property in rural Provence. Hosting regular non-profit events, SRP residents also have the opportunity to expand their international network. Connecting creativity, nature and narratives, SRP focuses on promoting innovative ways of storytelling with the tools of new and immersive media, animation, film, and photography.

SRP is dedicated to diversity and inclusive practices and wishes to encourage collective open dialogue and communication.
